Joyce E. Parr, 86, of Cuero passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. She was born on July 17, 1934 in Yoakum to the late William Nute and Bulah Edna Marshall.  Joyce married the late Lesley T. Parr in Lavaca County on November 6, 1954. She was a housewife and loved spending time with her family.  Joyce had a passion for art and truly enjoyed painting, drawing, and coloring.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Gale Parr and son, Tommy D. Parr, both of Cuero; sister, Jean Wurm; grandchildren, Maggie Parr, Dillon Parr, and Kathleen Parr, all of Cuero; and great-grandchild, Rose Parr of Cuero.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Diann Marshall Norris; and brother, Bob Marshall.

Visitation will begin at 9 am on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Freund Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 10 am with Pastor Grady Arnold of Calvary Baptist Church officiating.  Social distancing and mask wearing is required. Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Henry Cretors, Larry Cretors, Jimmy Parr, Chris Parr, Chris Coleman, and Chantz Stewart.
