Obituary
Miss Joycelyn Pickens, 58, of Cuero passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012. She was born December 31, 1953 in Cuero to Mazie Mackie Haskin and the late Donrell Pickens.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Pickens of Cuero, Lillian Pickens Ellis of Victoria, Laura McKinnon and husband, Freeman, of San Antonio, and Shirley Battles and husband, Lionel, of Victoria; and brothers, Larry Pickens and Don Pickens of Cuero, and Michael Pickens of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her father and brothers, Floyd Pickens and Sammy Pickens.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor A.L. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Larry Pickens, Don Pickens, Larry Carter, Lionel Battles, and Michael Pickens.
