IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julius "Jc"
Carl Hull
February 26, 1937 – June 5, 2024
Julius Carl "JC" Hull, born February 26, 1937, peacefully passed away on June 5, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Willie Carl and Inez Hull; his son, Brian Keith Hull and his grandson, Brandon Hull. JC is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Hull; his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cheryl Hull; his granddaughter and her husband, Staci and Andrew Fields and their three lively great-granddaughters, Evie, Emma, and Ella. He is also survived by his grandson and his wife, Christopher and Christine Hull, and their three energetic great-grandkids, Cohen, Constance, and Christopher Jr. JC leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Charles "Buggin" and Annette Hull; his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Pat Hull, and many nephews, nieces, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
JC proudly served his country in both the Air Force and the Navy from 1954 to 1975, earning the Commendation Medal in 1972 and the Meritorious Service Medal in 1973. His military career took him to far-flung corners of the world, including Alaska, England, Turkey, Germany, and even Iceland.
After his military service, JC tackled the world of IT at the University of Houston and later at Himont as a senior programmer. Despite his impressive career, he often relied on his great-grandkids to help him with modern technology, particularly his phone, proving that even senior programmers have their challenges.
In retirement, JC returned to his roots in Cuero, where he became a cornerstone of the community. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church. JC was also a familiar face at the local Dairy Queen, where he spent his mornings catching up with friends, engaging in what can only be described as spirited "gossip sessions."
Known for his quick wit and knack for throwing out a zinger, JC had a talent for making people laugh. His loving heart, sharp humor, and the warmth he brought into every room will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, JC. Your legacy of love, laughter, and service will live on in the hearts of those you left behind.
