Karen Elaine Lewis, 75, of Cuero passed away Friday, January 10, 2025.  She was born June 20, 1949 in Beaumont to Woodrow Copeland and Elaine Bond.  She married Joseph "Jay" Lewis in June of 1990 in Tyler.  Kay proudly held the title of first female president for the Cuero Lions Club. She was the co-founder of Christmas in the Park and the December Events Committee.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Lewis; sons, Michael Bell of League City, Aaron Bell of Pearland and Ethan Bell of Houston; step-daughters, Pamela Thomas of Shreveport, LA and Wendy Hall of Frankston and step-son, Joseph Lewis Jr. of Frankston; sister, Dena Williams of Tyler; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Howell and brother, Jim Copeland.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, 2:00 pm at Lifeway Baptist Church with Pastor Glenn Moore officiating.  Interment will follow at  Hillside Cemetery.
