Kenneth Sullivan, 80, of Cuero passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013. He was born August 11, 1932 in Hulbert, OK to the late Clyde and Virgie Wilkerson Sullivan. He married his beloved wife Mary Schlinke Sullivan in Cuero. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service. He enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, Bowling, and Softball.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, Suzan Sullivan Voelkel of Cuero; sons, Josh Sullivan of Cuero and Mitchell Wayne Sullivan (Sheradawn) of Waller; sister, Alice Heiss of Kelly; brother, Roger Sullivan of AZ; grandchildren, Johnathan Voelkel, Mikeala, Kaley, Paul, Lucy, Hope, Tiara Donnett, and Samuel Sullivan; great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Andrew James Voelkel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Margaret Maxey; brothers, Jack Sullivan and Bruce Sullivan.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Yorktown Branch with President Roger Clawson officiating. Interment will follow at Lindenau Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Bill Melason, John Tipton, Vernon Tipton, Ray Smith, Oscar J. Schlinke, and Ken Schulz.
Honorary pallbearers include John W. Schulz and Dell Lantis.
