Mr. Larry D. Guerrero, Jr., 53, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was born July 1, 1968 in Escondido, California to Larry D. Guerrero, Sr. and Maria D. Perez. Larry started out working in construction. He later became a DeWitt County Jailer and then worked for Five Star security. He also took pride in being a volunteer firefighter.

He is survived by his mother, Maria D. Perez; wife, Celinda A. Guerrero; daughter, Adrianna D. Guerrero; step-daughter, Vanessa L. Jahn; son, Larry D. Guerrero III; step-sons, Michael R. Jasso and Nicholas J. Jasso; sisters, Sidney Ladwig, Lisa Guerrero, Laurie Maldonado, Debbie Orosco and Brenda (Daniel) Rodriguez; brothers, Richard Guerrero, Joe Guerrero and Randy Perez Sr. and fourteen grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, 9 AM at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 10 AM at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Bagwell officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside cemetery.

Pallbearers include Larry Guerrero III, Michael R. Jasso, Eric Garza, Trae Barron, Jonathan Gamez, Shane Guerrero, Richie Guerrero and Jason Maldonado.

Honorary Pallbearers include Brian Ladwig, Brandon Ladwig and Marty Sanchez.
