Obituary
CUERO - Lauriano Alvarado, 77, of Cuero, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010. He was born July 4, 1932, in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to the late Brijido Alvarado and Maria Valdez Alvarado.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Pompa of Cuero, Nancy Brennan of Independence, Kan., and Maria England of Amarillo; sons, Dale Alvarado and Faustino Alvarado, both of Amarillo, Felix Alvarado of Tulsa, Okla., and Brijido Alvarado and Lauriano Alvarado Jr., both of Cuero; sister, Damiana Lopez; brothers, Perfecto Alvarado of California, David Alvarado of Mexico, and Brijido Alvarado of Weslaco; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Lina Alvarado, whom he married in Rio Bravo, Mexico.
The funeral will be at 6 p.m. today, April 27, 2010, at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero with Pastor David Maldonado officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo.
