Lawrence Edward Kohler, aged 77, passed away peacefully in his home in Cuero on February 3 rd , 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Cuero; son, Mark (Pam) Kohler of Yorktown; daughter, Kim (David) Nungaray, of Austin; grand-daughters, Angelica (Tyler) Harlow of Mansfield, and Kaylee Nungaray of Austin; and great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Wyatt Harlow.
Lawrence will be greatly missed by his sister, Polly (H.J.) Browning of Newport Beach, CA; brother, Paul (Dinah) Kohler of Euless; and nephews Charles Browning, Greg Browning, Brett Browning, and Kirk Kohler.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles P. Kohler and Linnie Bon (Johnston) Kohler.
Lawrence had a lifelong love of hunting and fishing, and he was a die-hard UT Longhorn fan. He cherished his wife of 58 years, and the crowning achievement of his life was his family. He was a man of deep faith and was ready to embrace eternal life with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
There will be a visitation on Friday, February 21 st from 12-4 pm at Freund Funeral Home, 213 N. Gonzales St., Cuero, where the family will gather with friends to celebrate his life.
Donations may be made to Hospice of South Texas, or to the charity of your choice.
