Lawrence Edward Kohler, aged 77, passed away peacefully in his home in Cuero on February 3 ^rd , 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Cuero; son, Mark (Pam) Kohler of Yorktown; daughter, Kim (David) Nungaray, of Austin; grand-daughters, Angelica (Tyler) Harlow of Mansfield, and Kaylee Nungaray of Austin; and great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Wyatt Harlow.

Lawrence will be greatly missed by his sister, Polly (H.J.) Browning of Newport Beach, CA; brother, Paul (Dinah) Kohler of Euless; and nephews Charles Browning, Greg Browning, Brett Browning, and Kirk Kohler.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles P. Kohler and Linnie Bon (Johnston) Kohler.

Lawrence had a lifelong love of hunting and fishing, and he was a die-hard UT Longhorn fan. He cherished his wife of 58 years, and the crowning achievement of his life was his family. He was a man of deep faith and was ready to embrace eternal life with his Savior, Jesus Christ.

There will be a visitation on Friday, February 21 ^st from 12-4 pm at Freund Funeral Home, 213 N. Gonzales St., Cuero, where the family will gather with friends to celebrate his life.
