Leon E. Sturm, Jr., 56, of Cuero passed away Friday, June 5, 2015. He was born September 2, 1958 in Sealy to the late Leon Sturm, Sr. and Marie Sturm. He married the love of his life, Donnell Henry Sturm, on February 14, 1998 in Fredericksburg. He worked as an electrician at Houston Lighting and Power for seventeen years. In his free time he enjoyed being a cattle rancher and spending time with family.

He is survived by his beloved wife; daughters, Courtney Sturm and Erin Sturm; sisters, Rue Ann Smith, Glenda DelaRosa (Jerry), Donna Smith (Willie), Marcy Downum; and sister-in-law, Candy Sturm.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Danny Hundl; and brothers, Lynn Sturm and Glenn Sturm.

A special gathering will take place Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the family's home in Cuero at 11 a.m. There will be food and drinks in celebration and remembrance of Leon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association in honor of Leon Sturm.
