Lillian Leona Francis Firebaugh, 87, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. She was born June 24, 1922 in Bloomington, IL to the late Percy Francis and Nellie Viola Glaze Francis.



Leona was retired from Mission CISD as the Superintendent's secretary. She was also retired as organist of the First United Methodist Church in Mission, TX.



She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Borowicz and husband Dennis, of Cuero, and her daughter Janet Myrick and husband Bill, of Victoria; six truly wonderful grandchildren and ten beautiful great-grandchildren



A memorial service will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Victoria, TX on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. David King officiating.



Memorials may be made to John Wesley United Methodist Church or Hospice of South Texas.
