Linda Y. Caraway Shows, 79, of Cuero passed away Friday, July 31, 2020.  She was born October 2, 1940 in Cuero to the late Stayton and Julia Lee Caraway.  She married Jimmy G. Shows on August 16, 1976 in Zapata.  She was a nurse and waitress.

She is survived by daughters, Vicky Laqua of Cuero and Mona (Jim) Schlieper of Victoria; son, Randy P. (Mary) Stirneman of Milwaukie, Oregon; brothers, Butch (Anna) Caraway of Cuero and Rodney (Christine) Caraway of Cuero; grandchildren, Tabitha (BJ) Laqua Smith, Amber D. Bowen, Dusty Wayne (Sharon) Laqua, Nina (Jason) Palacios, Sarah (Scott) Anderson, Paul Stirneman; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 35 years, Jimmy; sister, Barbara Faye Laqua and brothers, Jerry Caraway and Richard A. Caraway.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020, 10:00 AM at Westhoff Cemetery with Pastor John Mueller officiating.
