IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda M.
Peterson
March 2, 1947 – May 13, 2025
God saw her getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around her
And whispered, "Come home with Me."
And with tearful eyes we watched her,
And saw her pass away.
And though we love her dearly,
We could not make her stay."
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard-working hands were put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Linda M Peterson was special! The "M" in her name is for MEMAW (actually Marie)- but everyone knew her as MEMAW. Many young folks around this area remember her as they learned about horses, as she her daughter Lori and granddaughter Ragen had a Summer horse camp for 19 years. She also was involved with Meyersville School where many young folks knew MEMAW. She was truly special! Linda was born on March 2, 1947 and left this world May 13 as the area medical personnel could not keep that golden heart beating.

Linda's most recent employment was with the US Government as a Field Representative of the Census Bureau. She had a six county area to travel and solve problems. Her problems were usually solved when she flashed that beautiful smile. She made alot of friends in that job believe it or not. In the very near future her family will be having a get together on May 24th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at daughter Lori's house.
