Obituary
MEYERSVILLE - Lisa Elaine Johnson, 46, died on March 20, 2009. She was born on March 27, 1962, in Borger, to Earl and LaVeta McCormick.
Lisa is survived by her mother of Victoria; her son, Andrew Johnson of Taylor; sisters, Sheryl Janssen of Hewitt, N.J., Jackie Gloor of Goliad, Teresa Hull of Victoria; stepdaughter, April Balinsky; two step-grandchildren, Cameron and Jewel Balinsky of Crosby; and eight nephews and one niece.
Lisa was an avid animal lover, caring more for the welfare of her pets than for herself. No creature was outside of her compassion.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., today, at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2009, at Freund Funeral Home with the Rev. David M. Ewing officiating. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2009, at St. Peter's Church Cemetery in Coupland.
Pallbearers are Earl James Janssen, Matthew Coleman, Marcus Coleman, Jonathan Gloor, Ryan Gloor, Collin Gloor, Gary Gloor, James Janssen, Kyra Coleman, and Christopher Janssen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Victoria Adopt-A-Pet would honor her memory.
