Obituary
Lola May Tolbert, 86, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012. She was born on March 9, 1926 in Cuero to the late Ferddie and Alma Barber. She married her beloved husband Leroy Tolbert on February 19, 1950. Lola was an artist.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Alma Burgess and husband, Mike, of Alice, and Susan Yvonne Gainan of Cuero; sons, Timothy Charles Tellander and wife, Shawn, of San Antonio, Jeffery Leroy Tolbert of Yoakum, and John Stewart Tolbert of Oklahoma; sisters, Gladdie Rusche and Darlene Bennett; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Hubert Barber, Derwood Barber, and Bruce Barber.
Family will start receiving friends at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012,followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church.
