Obituary
Lorene Green Haggens, 92, of Cuero, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. She was born Aug. 2, 1917 in Cuero to the late Walter Green and Ivy Wesley Green. She was a domestic helper and received several volunteer awards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Audrey M. Galloway, Berniece Green, and Justine King; and brothers, Claudius Green, Johnathan Green, John W. Green, and G.W. Green.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, the Rev. Dewayne Belvin officiating. Interment will follow at Westville Cemetery.
