Lorenza "Nancy" Ortiz, 81, of Cuero passed away Friday, March 23, 2018. She was born June 21, 1936 in Cuero to the late Leonzo and Antonia Zuniga Galindo. Lorenza married Lorenzo Ortiz Jr. on September 1, 1956 in Cuero. She was a seamstress.

Lorenza is survived by her beloved husband of Cuero; daughter, Elizabeth Ortiz of Cuero; sons, David Ortiz of Cuero and Wayne Ortiz of Cuero; brother, Ismael Galindo Sr., eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janie Soliz and Paula Robles; brothers, John Galindo Sr., Leonzo Galindo Jr., and Andrew Galindo Sr.; and granddaughter, Chrissy Villa.

Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with funeral mass to follow at 10 a.m. Father Jasper Liggio will officiate. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery.
