Lorenzo "Lencho" Hernandez of Cuero, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January, 6, 2021.  Lorenzo was born in Mexico D.F. on February 22, 1968 to Javier Hernandez and Socorre Mireles Hernandez.  Lencho was married for 25 years to his loving and devoted wife Maria D. Tapia Hernandez (Lola).  Lorenzo worked as a ranch foreman and construction manager for the Schumacher family in Cuero.  He was a dedicated and talented employee for many years.

Lorenzo was preceded in death by his mother, Socorre.  Lorenzo is survived by his father, Javier; his wife, Lola; his daughter, Lesly Hernandez; and his siblings, Casimira, Enrique, Francisco, Olga, Lupe, Gabriela and Juan Luis.  He is also survived by his nephew, who was like a younger brother to him, Carlos Hernandez and his wife, Anael of San Angelo.

A church service was held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Jacob officiating.  A burial service was held in Mexico with his family on Monday, January 18, 2021.
