Lorenzo Ortiz Jr., 84, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021. He was born in Yorktown on April 14, 1937 to the late Francisca Lopez and Lorenzo Ortiz Sr. Lorenzo married Lorenza Nancy Galindo on September 1, 1956. He was a body repairman for many years.

Lorenzo is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Ortiz of Cuero; sons, David Ortiz and Wayne Ortiz, both of Cuero; sister, Mary Ortiz Quinterro of Cuero; brother, Daniel Ortiz of Cuero; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Lorenza Ortiz; sister, Helen Torres; and granddaughter, Chrissy Villa.

A rosary will be recited at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Funeral mass will begin at 11 am with Father Richard Bediako officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
