Lorenzo Garcia, Sr., 79, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017. He was born August 11, 1937 in Victoria to Antanascio and Amande Garcia. Lorenzo worked as a ranch hand and truck driver and was a musician.

He is survived by his son, Lorenzo Garcia, Jr.; wife, Eulalia DeLaRosa ;niece, Melissa Wood; grandchildren, Manuel Esteban Garcia, Ricki Lynn Wood and Allen Wood.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Delores Garcia; sisters, Amelia Guevara, Delfina Garcia and Linda Garcia; and brother, Frank Garcia.

Visitation and Rosary will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with the rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating.

Pallbearers will be Roel Chacon, Mario Briones, Joe Hernandez, Jimmy Salazar, Levi Cherry and Richard Brotze. Honorary pallbearer is Thomas Briones.
