Lorine Logeman Rangnow went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2012, at the age of 93. Lorine was the first born on January 19, 1919, to the late George and Minna Logeman of Lindenau. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ellwood Rangnow, Sr., and her daughter-in-law, Alice Rangnow. She is survived by her son, Ellwood Rangnow Jr. and wife, Carol, of Universal City; and two daughters, Gloria Maurer and husband, Herbie, of Katy and Lorna Young and husband, Clinton, of Mission Valley. Her grandchildren are Allen Maurer and Cynthia Hablinski. Her great-grandchildren are Aaron, Avery, Sarah, Matthew, and Henry Maurer, Brandon and Allison Hablinski, all being of the Houston area.

Lorine was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Meyersville where she attend circle meetings and fulfilled many requests that the church asked of its members. She is known for her love of having family holiday gatherings and working outdoors.
During the summer, Ellwood and Lorine enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren, fishing, making their amazing range cookies, and instilling in them the joy and pride of working hard.
Lorine took care of her husband for many years before his passing. Lorine's brother and sister had passed much earlier. She watched over the care of her mother, MInna Logeman. We will miss Lorine; however, we will keep her with us always in our hearts, souls, and minds.
