Lott Mathis, Jr.'s Obituary
Lott Mathis, 75, of Cuero, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009. He was born July 17, 1934, in Cuero, to the late Lott Mathis Sr. and Ruth Hopkins Mathis.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lillie Jones, Dorothy Battles, Modestine Meadow, Ceola Hopkins, Carrie Mae Brown, Delores Mathis, and Erma English; and brothers, R.A. Mathis, A.D. Mathis, Joe Albert Mathis, Allee "Sonny" Mathis, and John "Buddy J" Mathis.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at Freund Funeral Home, the Rev. Elroy English officiating. Interment will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Troy Duruisseau, Melvin Taylor, Adnre Hatter, Emmanuel Hopkins Jr., J.C. Mathis, and Arthur Henry Jones.
