Graveside services were held this week for Maddon and Grayson Nguyen, twin sons of Duy and Amanda Nguyen of Fort Worth. They were born Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009 at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. Maddon weighed 1.2 lbs. and was 11-1/2" long and Grayson was 1.4 lbs. and was 11-1/2" long.

They are survived by their parents and grandparents, John and Kim Nguyen of Nederland, Clay Lapp of Cuero, and Glenn and Carrie Rea of Cuero.
Great-grandparents are Toan V. Dao and Nu T. Ho of Houston; the late Ly Nguyen and Chat Tran of Port Neches; Harold and Phyllis Lapp of Cuero; Jim and Francis Pratt of Rockport; and J.R. and Dollie Rea of Andrews.

Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Ben Lapp of San Antonio, Tony Nguyen of Nederland, Phuong Nguyen of Fort Worth, Tan Nguyen, Ha Nguyen, Lan Nguyen, and Phong Nguyen, all of Nederland, Staci Pruitt of Granbury and Stephani Rea of Tomball.

Burial was in Hillside Cemetery under the direction of Freund Funeral Home.

Maddon and Grayson were affected by Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Texas Children's Fetal Center in order to help other families in similar situations.
