Cuero - Margaret Cage, 90, of Cuero, passed away Friday, January 02, 2009 in Houston. Margaret was born March 10, 1918 in Bishop, Texas to the late Norman Leamon and Marge Myrtle True Falkenburg. She married Gus Thomas Cage in Falfurrias, Texas on December 29, 1939.

She is survived by her sons, Lowell Thomas Cage and Don Morris Cage, both of Houston; brother, Bill Falkenburg of San Antonio; sister, Annell Dean of Houston; three grandchildren, Chad, Hunter and Shea Cage; two step-grandchildren, Annie and Allison Viviano; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband; two grandsons, Travis Mitchell and Kyle Thomas Cage; and four brothers, Ruel, NL, Charles and Herbert Falkenburg.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, January 5, 1:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Cuero with Rev. Debby Lake officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chad Cage, Gary Cage, Hunter Cage, Ken Cage, Lloyd Cage, and Mark Steen.

The family would like to thank The Abbey at Westminster Plaza, Assisted Living, in Houston, Texas for their loving care for the last year.
