Margaret Estell Conrad, 77, of Cuero passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born March 18, 1935 in DeWitt County to the late John C. and Estella Elnora Hans Sager. She married her beloved husband, James A. Conrad at the Zion Lutheran Church in Arneckeville. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church Altar Guild, DeWitt County Historical Museum, and Cuero Community Hospital Auxillary. She was one of the founders and also a member of the DeWitt County Wildlife Association.

She is survived by her husband, sons, Michael Conrad and wife, Susan, of Brentwood, TN and Craig Conrad and wife, Pat, of Cuero; daughter, Melissa Randle and husband, Richard, of Cuero; grandchildren, Richard C. Conrad and wife, Jenny, of Victoria, Ryan J. Conrad and wife, Nicole, of San Antonio, Zachary C. Conrad of Miami, FL, and Jared G. Conrad and fiancé, Brooke West ; and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John C. Sager and Fred M. Sager; and sisters, Mildred M. Sager and Joline S. Adams.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Pastor Karl Biermann officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
