Margaret Trevino Renteria, 68, of Cuero passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012. She was born January 1, 1944 in Cuero to the late Miguel and Mary Guillen Trevino. She was married to her beloved husband, Israel M. Renteria for 36 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Irene Renteria and husband, John Jagerson, of Yoakum; sons, Michael Renteria, Sr. and wife, JoAnn, of Cuero and Ramsey Lee Renteria of Iowa Falls, Iowa; sisters, Manuela Anzaldua of Cuero, Josephine Zapata of Cuero, Ginny Munoz of Yorktown, Mary Trevino of Yorktown, and Martha Garza of Cuero; brothers, Mike Trevino of Amarillo, Eloyd Trevino, Sr. of Cuero, and Richard Trevino of Austin; grandchildren, Starr Renteria and husband, Steven Mitchell, Cristal Renteria Vasquez and husband, Mathew, Michael Renteria, Jr., Ana Elisa Renteria, Alexis Garcia and husband, Josef Flores, and Francesca Garcia and husband, Marvin Zaiontz; great-grandchildren, Logan Alan Mitchell and Evan James Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Pedro Trevino.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Dan Cancino officiating. Private Burial will be held at a later date.
