Margaret (Peggy) Weston of Westhoff was born Lennie Margaret Rackley in Marion, Indiana, on September 19, 1918, and entered rest May 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leo Carlton (Monk) Weston; parents Emmitt E. and Pattie G. Rackley; brothers Floyd and Gene; and sisters Edna and Lois.

Prior to moving to Onalaska, Texas, to live with her daughter, Jo, in April of 2012, Peggy was an active member of First Baptist Church in Westhoff; she loved working with children and with dear friends. For many years, Peggy conducted exercise classes at the Senior Citizens' Center in Cuero. She also belonged to the Hilltoppers group and enjoyed spending time with friends.

Peggy is survived by six children: Dennis Wells/wife Jannet, Pattie Wells Shilling, Judy Wells Reneer, Joyce Wells Wiren/husband Denny, Jo Weston Redd/husband James (Buddy), and Kenneth Charles (K.C.) Weston/wife Lorraine. She is also survived by grandchildren Kasey Rae Wiken/husband Chris, Alex, Kassandra, Dimtri, Jaxom, and Kenneth. Great-grandchildren are Connor, Kyleigh, and Keira Wiken.

Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero. Services will be conducted graveside Thursday, May 9, in the Westhoff Cemetery at 10:00 AM by Pastor Richard Schaller of First Baptist Church of Westhoff.

Pallbearers are: Mack Weston, Michael Weston, Tim Bradley, Jeffrey Constable, Rodney Nolte, and Roy Nolte, Jr.
