Obituary
Margene Wilke, 79, of Cuero, passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 in Victoria. She was born May 18, 1930 in Gonzales to the late William Andrew Robinson and Ellie Estelle Robinson. She was an apartment manager. She married Gottlieb R. Wilke on June 8, 1947.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverley and Kenneth Flessner of Victoria, Margie and John Swannack of Cuero, and Debbie and George Wynne of Driftwood; sister, Betsy and Joel Houston of Marble Falls; twin brother, Gene Robinson of Leesville; brother, Willie A. Robinson of Cuero; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Pauline; brothers, Chester, Audrey, and Jessie (Boe).
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Eric Petty officiating. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jason Flessner, Kyle Nethery, Eric Flessner, Bryan Nethery, Daren Otto, Keith Pare, and John Otto.
Memorials may be made to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
