Obituary
Maria Perez Arriaga, 82, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012. She was born April 18, 1930 in Sinton to the late Jesus and Cruz Rodriguez Perez. She married Fernando Arriaga in Edinburg where they spent most of their lives and raised their children.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria Vela, Maria Villagomez, Maria Elena Ramirez, and Rosalinda R. Cantu; sisters, Maria Perez of Edinburg, Antonia Valdez of Moses Lake, Francisca Rodriguez of Yoakum, and Juanita Alvarado of Yoakum; brother, Ramon Perez of McAllen; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Gustavo Ramirez Jr. and Jesus Ramirez; sisters, Placida Rodriguez and Trinidad Guerra; and brothers, Leon Perez, Alvaro Perez, Lupe Perez, Juan Perez, and Jesus Perez.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
