Maria Delores Perez, 63, of Cuero passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. She was born in Cuero to Inez and Guadalupe Medellin Echavarria. She married Jesus Moreno Perez on April 2, 1977. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Jesus Perez; daughter, Rosie Perez; sons, Adam Perez, Jessie Perez, Joe Perez and Oscar Gonzales; six sisters; four brothers and eighteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Domingo Eric Perez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 5-7 PM at Freund Funeral Home with a rosary to begin at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 2PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jacob Mendoza officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Bonifacio Perez, Jr., Juan Echavarria, Morris Williams, Ralph Hernandez, Anthony Partida, Jacob Echavarria and Benny Estrada.
