Maria Fatima Kimes "Judy", 60 of Cuero passed away February 6, 2019 in her home with her family. She was born June 16, 1958 in Argentina to Lloyd and Emily Kimes. She attended Spring Branch Schools in Houston and was awarded a scholarship to St. Thomas Catholic University in Houston for Bilingual Education. Judy taught school for 33 years. She always expressed her love for family, her students and her pets.

Judy is survived by her parents, Lloyd and Emily Kimes; her brother, Ed and wife Rachel Kimes; nieces, Kayla and Kasey Kimes; and her aunts, Mary and Julie Yalis of Argentina.
