Maria Margaret Munoz, 88, of Cuero passed away Friday, February 22, 2019.  Maria was born June 10, 1930 in Westhoff to the late Angel and Herminia Romero Campos.  Maria married her late husband, Frank Munoz, in August of 1949.  She enjoyed sewing and gardening and cherished the time she spent with her family.

Maria is survived by her daughters, Irma Wooten (Pedro) of Houston and Gloria Cleveland (Shane) of Cuero; son, Elmo Munoz (Celia) of Cuero; sisters, Minnie Rice and Patsy Mora; brothers, Daniel Campos of Cuero and Sammy Campos of Victoria; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; son, Jimmy Munoz; sister, Janie Cisneros; and brothers, Octaviano Campos, Lazaro Campos, Angel Campos Jr, and Jesse Campos.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday, February 28, 2019, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jasper Liggio officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jason Munoz, Levon Munoz, Brandon Munoz, Julian Munoz, Joe Espinoza, and Robert Wooten.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
