Marion C. Groves, 89, went to be with her Lord on November 12, 2018.  She was born to John and Ella Livesay on October 23, 1929 in Hobbs, NM.  On December 5, 1947, she was married to Issac M. Groves.  Marion loved flipping and remodeling houses and going to garage sales.  She also loved resale shops; so much so that at one point in her life, she owned The Cedar Chest Shop in Victoria and managed Bloomingdeals Resale Shop in Cuero for several years.  Marion was involved on many volunteer committees especially with senior citizens.  She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do or give up for them.  She was a great Mom and a Meme to all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband; father and mother; a brother and two sisters.  She will be missed greatly by her son, Ike Groves (Sandy); daughters, Jackie Stewart (Steve) and Sheila Cooper; grandchildren, Larry Sanders, Dusty Tweedle, Drake Groves, and Jonathan Cooper; great-grandchildren, Chance Sanders, Bailey Tweedle, and Mara Neil Sanders; and great-great-grandchildren, Masson Sanders and Ava Neil.

A funeral service was held at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero on Friday, November 16 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeanine Coppedge of Trinity Church officiating.  Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero.
