Marion Carol Kirkwood, 80, of Austin passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023.  She was born December 24, 1942 in Mobeetie, TX to Belvin B. and Charlotte Daisy Cantrell.  She married Butler W. Kirkwood on May 15, 1999 in Chilton, TX.  She worked as a nurse. She enjoyed making ceramics, fishing, she loved baking and dancing.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Charles (Jason) of New London, TX and Donna Kirkwood (James) of Austin, TX; son, Billy Blevins (Rhonda) of Santa Fe, TX; sister, Phyllis Chanek (Robert) of Edna, TX; grandchildren, Ben Keenan (Marrissa) of Emmett, ID, Weston Keenan of New London, TX, Cody Blevins (Tiffany) of Santa Fe, TX, Matthew Blevins of Santa Fe, TX and Samantha Corbett of Austin, TX and great-grandchildren, Abel, Brayden and Camille Keenan of Emmett, ID, Layne and Reed Blevins of Santa Fe, TX and Jose, Estefanni and Christopher Diaz Aquino of Austin, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Butler; brothers, B.B. Cantrell and Jimmy Shanley and granddaughter, Marisa Blevins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, 1:00 PM at Freund Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Farmer officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Samantha Corbett, Billy Blevins, Weston Keenan, Jason Charles, James Allen and Bryan Williams.
