Martin Flores, 61, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He was born October 19, 1964 in Cuero to the late Manuella Rosales and Santos Ignacio Flores Sr. He married Sandra Alcazar on September 13, 2021 in Cuero. He loved working in the oilfield as a motorman and riding motorcycles. He enjoyed his daily herbs, mowing the lawn and his dog, Oreo. His greatest joy was time spent with his family, grandkids and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughters, Martha Flores and Martina Flores Sanchez (Joel); sons, Martin Flores Jr. (Jaclyn), Alphonso Flores (Gabrielle), Samuel Flores, Roy Allen & Nathan Trevino and Matthew Hernandez; sisters, Carmelita Flores Barbontin and Rosie Salas (Alex); brothers, Sisto Flores and Santos Flores Jr. (Melissa); grandchildren, Michael, Chloe, Audrina, Aubri, Jurlias, Mikhaylha, Larry, Joel Jr., Skyler, Charlie, Benjamin, Alphonso Jr. and Julianna; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Nazario Barbontin.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, 9:00 AM at Freund Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 10:00 AM with Santos Flores officiating.
