Mary Alice Trevino passed peacefully on Tuesday evening, November 23, 2021 at 68 years old.  She was born on September 14, 1953, in Cuero to the late Trinidad Hernandez and Mary Vasquez Hernandez.

She enjoyed baking and would often provide the deserts, mostly cupcakes, for the family holiday dinners.  Her porch and living room was always filled with plants, as she loved to bring plants to life.  Mary often spent time outside sitting and chatting with her best friend, Shirley Robinson (deceased), enjoying her company and conversation.  Most of all, she loved to spend time with her grandkids.  She would always anxiously await their arrival at the bus stop as she had an afterschool snack ready and waiting for them.

Mary is survived by her son, Joe Trevino and his wife, Tracy; grandchildren, Kaylee Trevino, Kendal Trevino, Kirsten Trevino and Joseph Trevino; her sister, Patricia Ann Morales (James) and brothers, Trino Hernandez and Paul Hernandez.

She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Katelyn Trevino.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Father Jacob Mendoza officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
