Obituary
Maurice Williams Jr., 54, of Waco, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009. He was born Jan. 18, 1955, in Gonzales, to the late Maurice Williams Sr. and Maxine Lucas Williams. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his sons, Maurice (Sheila) Harrison and La Rae (Patrice) Williams of Yoakum; sisters, Kathryn L. Green and Barbara A. Williams of Cuero; brothers, Earl G. Williams of California and Thomas R. Williams of Cuero; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at Freund Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Samuel Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasantville Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Willie Carter, Franklin White, Maurice Harrison, Dedric "Boo" Green, Willie Green Jr., Keith Johnson, and La Rae Williams.
