Melissa Dyan Boyd, 44, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021.  She was born June 4, 1976 in Houston to Morris and Ellen Laubenberg Hogan.  She married Jimi Boyd on July 8, 2000 in Statesboro, Georgia.  Melissa was a store manager at Subway and in her spare time, she loved art, reading and listening to music.

She is survived by her husband, Jimi Boyd; parents, Morris and Ellen Hogan; sons, Ryan Patrick Boyd and Joshua Robert Boyd; brothers, John Hogan  and Randy Hogan; sister-in-laws, Valerie Hogan and Marina Hogan; brother-in-laws, John Marsh and Jacob Massey; and grandson, Ryan Patrick Boyd II (R2).

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 9 AM at Freund Funeral Home with a memorial service to begin at 10 AM with Pastor Kyle Clinton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions be made to The American Diabetes Association or The American Heart Association.
