Michael Vincent Ortiz, 46, of Cuero passed away Friday, August 2, 2024.  He was born December 28, 1977 in Cuero to Robert Lee and Sylvia Ortiz. Michael was self employed utilizing his talents as a handyman/contractor.

Michael is survived by his father, Robert Lee Ortiz; sister, Jessica Martin; uncle, Victor Galindo; cousin, Kevin Galindo; grandfather, Raymond Ortiz; cousin, Michael Galindo; and aunt, Lupe Galindo.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Ortiz; aunt, Mary Galindo; grandparents, Anicasio and Eufemia Galindo; and grandmother, Patsy Ortiz.

Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 10 am, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Meyersville with Father Richard Bediako officiating.  Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Scholarship Fund.

Honorary pallbearers include Samuel Flores, Fernando Flores, Matthew Flores, Xavier Flores, and Kevin Galindo.
