Nadine Vernell Henneke, "Dee", went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2022. She was born August 28, 1936 in San Antonio to the late Wilfred and Minnie Rosenberg. She married Harry Lee Henneke on June 10, 1955 in San Antonio. They were married for forty three years before he passed away in 1998. She made friends with everyone she met, and was full of good works like feeding the poor and visiting those in prison. Her many interests include ranching, Bible study, gardening, photography, traveling, writing poetry, antiques, journalism, holistic health, genealogy, cooking, wildflowers and birds. Her strong, spirited character helped her to fight cancer three times successfully.
