Obituary
VICTORIA - Nan E. Buckner, 77, of Victoria, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009. She was born March 8, 1932, in Westhoff, to the late Curtis Cartwright and Nathaniel Taylor Cartwright.
She is survived by her special nephew, J.C. Mathis of Victoria; special niece, Loleat Ross of Victoria; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Buckner; daughter, Eunice Cartwright; and brothers, Travis Cartwright, Leroy Cartwright, and Clifford Cartwright.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Freund Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Lou Terry Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero.
