Nathan H. Brown, 70, formerly of Gonzales, passed away on February 22, 2025. He was born September 23, 1954 in Brawley, CA to Nathan I. and Willa N. Brown.  He married Nancy Ennis on June 22, 1996 in Cuero.

He graduated from Southwest Texas University with a BA Degree in Education. He taught at Cuero ISD for 13 years. He graduated from the University of Houston with his MS in Education. He was principal at Centerville ISD and Moulton ISD.

Nathan loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, gardening and beekeeping.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Willa; sisters, Paula Gathercole and Barbara Brown and brother, Harold Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonnie Kramer and brothers, Bill Brown and Darwin Brown.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, 10:00 AM at Freund Funeral Home with Bill Ennis officiating.
