Nazario Barbontin III, 50, of Cuero, passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 in Victoria. He was born June 15, 1960 in Cuero, to Santos Maria Ruiz and the late Nazario Barbontin Jr.

He is survived by his mother; his wife, Diana M. Barbontin; daughters, Carmen and Maggie; stepdaughters, Alyse, Christina and Misty; sons, Joe and Frankie; stepson, Marcos; sisters, Ramona, Elisa, Rose Mary, Eva, and Maria; brothers, John, Joe, Michael, Jesse, Frank, Paul, and Adam; nine grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, and his brothers, Pete, Ricky, and August.

A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
