Olivia Blank Tieken, 97, of Cuero passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. She was born September 21, 1920 to the late D.A. Mueller and Annie Helmers Mueller. Olivia was a "domestic engineer" and love gardening, working in her yard , and cooking. She loved to meet with friends and family and sharing her vegetables or homemade cookies.

Olivia is survived by her daughter, Janice Fait and husband, James, of Edna; sons, Carroll Blank and wife, Margie, of Cuero and Wayne Blank of Cuero; daughter, Marilyn Tieken of Cuero; sons, John Tieken and wife, Lynn, of Henderson, Herbert Tieken and wife, Laura, of Cuero, and Kenneth Tieken and wife, Loy, of Cuero; ten grand children; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carl Blank and Edmund Tieken; brothers, Marcellus Mueller and George Mueller.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with services immediately following at 2 p.m. Pastor Paul Muehlbrad will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Carl Blank, Christopher Chandler, Jamie Chandler, Kendall Tieken, Mark Tieken, and Nathan Besler.
