Ora Beatrice (Sis) Wesley, 89, of Cuero passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. She was born January 21, 1923 in Cuero, TX to Andrew David and Beatrice McPherson. Ora worked at The Bohman Hospital and went on to retire from Cuero Community Hospital after 22 years of service. She was a diehard Spurs fan, a God-fearing woman, and loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughters, Kathryn Green and husband, Willie, of Cuero and Lena Wesley of Cuero; sons, Earl Gilbert Williams and wife, Barbra, of California; and Lloyd Wesley and wife, Audrey, of Houston; sister, Evelyn Johnson of San Antonio; brothers, W.A. McPherson of Houston and Avant McPherson of Houston; son-in-law, Robert Holman of Cuero; 13 grandchildren; 38 great- grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and her extended family, Kenneth, Jacque, Matthew, Parker, and Kendra Schumacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Katie Mae Mitchell; daughters, Jonquil Holman and Marilyn Bell.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 510 S. Indianola. Services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012, 11 a.m., at LE Meador Encampment Grounds with Rev. L.J. Clayton officiating. Interment will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.

Pallbearers include David Bell, Dedric Green, Willie Green Jr., Keith Johnson, Matthew Schumacher, and Parker Schumacher.

Honorary Pallbearers include The Deacons of Macedonia Baptist Church.
