Paul Jackson Jr, 85, of Cuero passed away Monday, August 10, 2015. He was born March 17, 1930 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to the late Delia Exum Jackson and Paul Jackson Sr. Paul married his beloved wife, CarraLee Grantham Jackson on October 24, 1950 in Corpus Christi. He served in the United States Navy and was a repairman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 38 years. Paul was a member of the Cuero Masonic Lodge AF & AM #409 and was a 32 Degree Master Mason. He was a long time rancher and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, CarraLee Grantham Jackson; daughter, Serena Thamm and husband, Stephen, of Cuero; sons, Mark Jackson and wife, Marie, and Michael Jackson, all of Cuero; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Jackson; and one grandchild. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, August, 12, 2015, 2 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
