Paul Gutierrez Moreno, 83, of Cuero passed away September 27, 2012. He was born February 2, 1929 in St. Louis, MO to Albert and Armana Moreno. He married his beloved wife, Josephine Vargas Moreno, on December 20, 2001 in Cuero. He worked for the U.S. Air Force for 27 years.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, Corine Rodriguez, Gloria Martinez, Diane Tenorio, and Celinda Moreno; sons, Tony Moreno, Paul Moreno, and Andy Moreno; sisters, Mary Lou Moreno and Juanita Moreno; brothers, Thomas Moreno and Frank Moreno; 20 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Service will be held October 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment to follow at San Pedro Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Richard Rodriguez Jr., Oscar Rodriguez Jr., Ruben Espinoza, Johnny Espinoza, Paul Moreno Jr., Chris Moreno, Harry Martinez Jr., and Paul Martinez Jr.
