Phillip Ambrose Dlugosch, 84, of Cuero passed away Thursday November 1, 2012. He was born December 7, 1927 in Cuero to the late Pete and Vera Migura Dlugosch. He married his lifelong love, Lorene Jablonski Dlugosch, on September 17, 1952 in San Antonio. Phillip was a lifetime rancher.

He is survived by his daughters, Dianne Covington and husband, Richard, and Linda Dlugosch both of Victoria; son, Pete Dlugosch and wife, Patricia, of Yorktown; sister, Constance Mueller of Seguin; 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lorene, of 56 years of marriage, daughter, Patricia Dlugosch; and brother Ben Dlugosch.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary starting at 7 at Freund Funeral Home. Service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yorktown.

Pallbearers include Patrick Covington, Brian Dlugosch, Kristopher Bluntzer, Jason Covington, Roy Robledo, Michael Gohmert, and Bill Feldousen.

Honorary Pallbearers Julio Covington, and Brandon Dlugosch.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church and Hospice of South Texas.
