Obituary
Portress Leverne Sigmund Keseling, 90, passed away Friday, Aug.12, 2011. She was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Cuero, to the late Clarence J. and Jessie Pinkston Sigmund. Portress was an engineering coordinator for Gulf Coast Wood. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Herman "George" Keseling III.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman George Keseling Jr.; and daughter, Donna Day Thompson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Don Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 4401 Lilac Lane, Victoria, Texas 77901.
