Meyersville, Randolph Dreier, 70, of Meyersville, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009. He was born May 21, 1938, in Meyersville, to the late Louis and Irene Kahlich Dreier. He graduated from Cuero High School in 1956 and served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He liked fishing, hunting and ranching. He was a crane operator and worked in the construction industry.

He is survived by his son, Ron Dreier of Meyersville; his daughter, Cheryl Bender and husband, Darrel of Springboro, Ohio; grandchildren, Barret and Benjamin Bender, Rebecca and Rylan Dreier; his sister, Faye Kennish and husband, Bert of Castle Rock, Colorado; and friend, Whitney Sholars of Austin, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Cynthia.

Visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009, 10 a.m., at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Meyersville with Pastor Eric Petty officiating.
