Raymond Anzaldua Garcia Sr., 79 of Cuero passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was born March 29, 2021 in Cuero to Pedro "Pete" and Lilia Anzaldua Garcia. He married Maria Rodriguez on July 22, 1964.

He is survived by his daughters, Diana (Larry) Garibay, Isabel (Andrew) Rocha, Rose (Michael) Castaneda, Melissa (John) Mills; son, Leon Garcia; sisters, Delfina Galindo, Victoria Licon, Prudencia De Los Santos, Mary Ruiz and Lilie Barrera; brothers, Felipe Garcia and Domingo Garcia; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of forty six years, Maria; and son, Raymond Garcia Jr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, 1:00 PM at Freund Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Cancino officiating. Interment will follow at San Isidro Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Isaiah Castaneda, Zander Castaneda, Desirae Garcia, Fabian Guerrero, Drew Rocha and Breadyn Ray Guerrero.
